On my trip to Rishikesh, we found this place in a chaotic street of Tapovan ! My order included filter kaapi , South Indian thaali and Mysore Masala dosa.
Filter Kaapi is nothing but South Indian filter coffee. It was perfect and I highly recommend to refresh yourself.
Being a South Indian, I know the authentic tastes of South Indian cuisine. I felt that this thaali is average. Taste was okay but yes, the spiced buttermilk and rasam was exceptionally good.
Mysore masala dosa was crispy and tasty !
Good place for a South Indian food in the city. Pretty clean and serves fresh food. The dosas idli utappa all are good. Do not expect authentic taste food as you get in bigger cities. Filter coffee is good too. Pricing is ok. For 6 South Indian snacks and 4 filter coffees we paid around Rs.1050/- Overall a good place to visit when you don't want to eat the greasy Indian food or bread/maida. Plus point they serve other cuisines as well unlike the name suggests. So there is something for everyone.
The taste and quality of the food was good. The staff was quite friendly. A nice and hygiene place serving mostly authentic south Indian and some north Indian cuisine.
